Komodo Walrus

Summer 2016

After quitting being a Goal Keeper in soccer, my Dad said I have to do something else. He gave me his 30-year-old guitar and said, “I can’t play this anymore because of my injury, it’s yours now, play it”. 

I practiced that summer until my fingers bled. At first playing, the guitar was really hard, but after a while I got the hang of it and began to like it. A lot! 

Got My Friends to form a band

I got 4 of my friends to team up and play in a folk rock band. I would be on rhythm guitar and vocals, Javo Pacheco on Lead Guitar, Juan Rodrigo on Bass, Pocholo Resurreccion on piano, and Gabby Fara-on on drums. We had so much fun playing together.

When we formed, I only had 6 months of experience playing guitar while most of them had little to no experience playing music.
